Which phone will work as PDA with pre-paid plan. Need phone only for voice calls & to sync with outlook on PC

I bought used BB but it didn't do the job. Not sure if Treo or Motorola Razr will work. It appears there are quite a few folks with this question but no concrete responses. Please share *any* insight you have on this topic.
