Can meiosis occur in a haploid individual?
I don't think its possible for a person to only have 23 chromosomes, they get 23 from each parent so it equals 46. All humans have 46, that's how meiosis occurs, 23 from each person. But if they only had 23 chromosomes then it wouldn't be possible.
