Symmetrical features and the science of attraction?

My features are no where close to symmetrical but i do consider myself an attractive girl. Does the fact that my face isn't symmetrical cause guys and/or people to find me less attractive or give me a higher percent of being ugly to a wider range of the population? What are your thoughts on looks as far a facial symmetry and attraction?
