What's your favourite comfort food?

I like the lamb stew and chicken and dumplings but top it off with good old rice pudding done on top of stove 1/3 cup of rice Italian short grain abborrio is best , 1/3 cup of sugar , four cups of milk , I use tinned evaporated for part of this. Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer add cup of sultana raisins and simmer stirring regularly until thicken about 50 minutes. Will continue to thicken as it cools . Stir in 1 tsp of vanilla and Serve with sprinkled cinnamon hot or cold .
