More than just friends?

So I've known this guy friend for a few months but we didn't really talk that much before. About a week ago, our school had this banquet event and we ended up hanging around together quite a bit. Also, we had some quick dances together. Since then we've been texting each other a lot. We actually talk at school whenever we see each other and hang out sometimes too. Do you think he likes me or should we just stay friends?
